For the last three years, Gillian has gone to paint in Provence as the landcape there is so rich and varied. The light is strong and gives an excellent opportunity to study the patterns created by the trees and their shadows. Gillian takes students to work with her in the poppy fields and vineyards here in the landscape that was once the inspiration for Cézanne.
